Parents and teachers at Giffards Primary School want children to be happy and learn lots of new skills. We believe that these two things can be achieved in an environment where children and adults respect each other, regardless of age, gender or position. We want children to be kind, careful and considerate, friendly and polite, helpful, sensible, honest, hard working and respectful of other people’s opinions, beliefs and property. Children at Giffards are happy and remain at the heart of everything we do.
An important element in a child’s education is the link between home and school. Children learn best when home and school work together so that we can achieve the very best for our children. Please ensure that children attend school every day, are punctual and wearing school uniform. Click to see our current Prospectus and an explanation of the curriculum that we follow.
All of our key policies are available on the policies page of our website. Contact us if you have any queries or questions or wish to report your child’s absence.
We are pleased to be part of the National School Breakfast Club programme, funded by the DfE, that helps fund our Breakfast Club and therefore allows us to offer certain families access to free Breakfast Club. We are really grateful to the NSBC for their support.
