ADMISSIONS

All admissions are managed by Thurrock Council. Our  Admission-Criteria-2024-25 can be found here as well as 2025/26  and 2026/27

The admission of all children, including those with disabilities, will be managed in accordance with this policy. Our number to admit is 60 per year group. There are no plans at present to amend this number however at the authorities request we would be able to increase to 90 per year group in the future.

Please feel free to contact us if you would like your child to attend our school, we can further explain the process and make an appointment to meet you and your child too. We are always happy to meet prospective new parents and pupils, to show you around our school and answer any queries you may have.

Applications for all admissions to Giffards have to be made via Thurrock Council - the link is below for admissions, however please note that the admission round has now closed for EYFS pupils starting in September 2025. If you still wish to apply please contact the school directly.

We carry out tours for small groups of parents who are interested in their children coming to our school. For the children who are due to start in September these tours take place during the September to December of the year before. The tours for a September 2025 start in EYFS have now been completed as the application round has closed however if you wish to have a tour please contact the school directly.
