PASTORAL CARE

Our shared vision included recognising that each child is an individual and as such is unique. We work closely as a team; striving to attain the highest possible outcomes for all our children, where inclusion of all learners is a central goal.

Our dedicated team of teachers and LSA’s are always the first contact for any issues regarding your children.

Our inclusion team consists of:

  • Mrs N Haslam-Davis; Headteacher. As leader of our school Mrs Haslam-Davis has overall responsibility for the children in our care. She is also our named second in charge Designated Safeguarding Lead.
  • Mrs V Teager; Inclusion manager and named Designated Safeguarding Lead.
As a teacher Mrs Teager supports teachers, LSA’s and parents in identifying and meeting any additional needs of our pupils.
  • Miss Maguire; Learning Mentor. As a member of our support staff Mrs Holdsworth works closely alongside staff with our pupils and parents. Her main role is to support challenging behaviour.

Our inclusion team aims to respond to pupils’ diverse needs and to help them overcome potential barriers to their learning.

We work closely together, with our parents and with a wide range of external agencies to ensure the needs of our pupils are met.

We work with individuals and groups of both children and parents. Recently we have run and organised; Pactwin, Pyramid for Parents, Story Sacks and ICT courses and regularly host maths and literacy sessions to enable parents to develop knowledge of the methods being used in school.
